Nokia has released the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Nokia 8 just a couple of months ago & they are already rolling out the Android 8.1 Oreo Update for the device. Juho Sarvikas, the CPO of HMD Global recently published a Tweet about the same.

The 8.1 Oreo Beta for Nokia 8 was under testing for a while now but, the the stable version was ready a lot earlier than we expected. Nokia initially promised their users to keep their devices up to date with latest software updates & they are indeed keeping their promise.
The update is about 1562.7 Megabytes in size & includes,
- Battery Saving Navigation Buttons
- Revamped Power Menu
- New Setting Menu
- Bluetooth Battery Percentage
- Update Google Security Patch 2018-02

We’re not sure when the Nokia 7, Nokia 6 & other Nokia devices will get the update but, we’re expecting that to happen pretty soon as well. Nokia is really providing great after sales customer support in the software department & that has raised the good reputation of the company quite a bit. Keep it up HMD Global.
