Nexus 5 Gets Android 5.0.1

Nexus 5 which was launched last year was one of the slimmest and fastest Nexus Phone available in the markets. But the phone is viewing discontinued operations. Read on and find out the complete details.

Before Google finally confirmed that the phone – Nexus 5, has been discontinued after liquidating the Inventory and it will no more be able to continue the selling of finished products next year onwards. Upon receipt of the latest system update, many Nexus Series phones and tablet, Nexus 5 also ushered Android 5.0.1 update. Users can download the update.

Now Google has pushed the system update to Nexus 5 mobile phone users and has released the corresponding original image, OTA upgrade package etc. Build number is still LRX22C. Although the Nexus 5 is now discontinued but, have pushed with the big update. Android 5.0.1 update on Nexus 5.

Nexus 5 is on sale since October 2013. The phone is well-equipped with Qualcomm Xiao long 800 quad core processor, 4.95 inches 1080 P screen, 2GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and 2300 mAh battery. It also supports wireless charging. It offers Android 4.4, Kitkat to its users. The Nexus 5 works with a new lens which is able to capture more light. Now clicking images at night will be equally exciting and best shots can be clicked. It also offers optical image stabilization; therefore shaky hands and blurred images are no more a problem. It comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front camera. It is available in three colors, Black, White and Red.
