Android phones can be hacked due to several reasons. You can follow the below-mentioned steps to fix a hacked Android phone:
Disable Unknown Sources
Installing apps from outside the Play Store can be dangerous. You should disable unknown sources to prevent installing apps from outside the Play Store.
Step 1: Click on the “settings” tab on your phone.
Step 2: Go to the “System” and then the “Advanced” tab.
Step 3: Find and click on the “Developer Options”.
Step 4: Scroll and find “Unknown Sources” and disable it by pressing the toggle switch.
Turn Off Spam Notifications
You can accidentally click on malicious links that can get your phone hacked. Turning off spam notifications takes care of this problem. It can be done through the following steps:
Step 1: Press and hold a notification when it comes.
Step 2: You will get a notification action menu with a toggle switch.
Step 3: Turn off the toggle switch to stop receiving notifications.
Do a Factory Reset
If the above steps do not work, then try a factory reset. You can do a factory reset in the following manner:
Step 1: Click on the Settings tab on your smartphone.
Step 2: Select “Backup and Reset” section.
Step 3: Click on the “Factory data reset”.
