So, if you have a Nokia 8, it’s definitely a good news for you. If you have any other Nokia phone like the Nokia 7 or 6 or 5 or 3 or 2 , your phone will get the update in 2018. But, cannot confirm about Nokia 2 though. Nokia said that they’ll release the update for 7, 6, 5 & 3 but, they released the Nokia 2 after that announcement so, we don’t know if the 2 will get the Oreo update or not.
The highlighting features of this update are mainly,
- Picture-In-Picture Mode Integration
- Notification Dots
- October Security Patch
- Google Play Protect security Scans
- Autofill Passwords
- Faster Boot-up Times
So, mainly Stock Oreo features integrations & that was expected as Nokia phones run on Pure Android. So, if you have the Nokia 8, do let us know if you notice any other improvements in your device. Oh & it’s a FOTA update so, you don’t need to search support website for the ROM. Checking your Software Update window should be enough.
